TERMS AND CONDITIONS – 2026

1.       Introduction

a.       Participation in this Competition is governed by these terms and conditions (the Rules).

b.       This competition is promoted by Jacobs Douwe Egberts ZA (PTY) LTD in conjunction with TLC Worldwide

c.       Participation in the Competition constitutes acceptance of these Rules and Participants agree to abide by these Rules.

2.       By participating in this Competition, Participants agree to the rules set out below.

a.       This Competition is limited to legal residents and/or citizens of South Africa. In addition, the following individuals shall not be eligible to participate in this Competition:

b.       Directors, members, partners, promotional and advertising agents, merchandisers, employees or consultants of the Promoters.

c.       Spouse, life partner, parent, child, brother, sister, business partner or associate of any of the persons specified in 2.b) above.

d.       Individuals who are not legal residents and/or legal citizens of the Republic of South Africa.

e.       Persons under the age of 18 years.

The Competition shall commence on 1 August 2026 and will end on 30 September 2026. No entries nor till slips dated before 00:00:01 1 August 2026 and after 23:59:59 30 September 2026 will be considered.

3.       Mechanics

To participate in this Competition, Participants must adhere to the following:

a.       Participants are required to purchase not earlier than 00:00:01 1 August 2026 and before 23:59:59 30 September 2026 any 2 Jacobs Specialties branded Products as defined in the below table (*excluding single sticks) at any Checkers store nationwide in the Republic of South Africa to enter the competition

b.       Participants can enter by:

                                                               i.      Scanning the QR code on instore point of sale and follow the prompts

c.      Entry costs are as per user’s standard WhatsApp data usage

d.       Participants may enter the Competition as many times as they wish over the promotional period, provided that participants purchase the two participating products each time and complete the Competition entry and enter a new till slip (proof of purchase)

e.       Participants are required to keep their till slip as proof of purchase to constitute a valid entry.

f.        All entries from disqualified participants' mobile numbers will be rejected.

g.       No computer-based entries will be accepted.

h.       Where promotional material refers to participants "picking" a guaranteed prize, this means participating in the promotional spin. The guaranteed prize awarded is determined by the outcome of the promotional prize wheel and cannot be selected by the participant.

5.       Standard Voucher Terms

·       Vouchers are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for cash
